If you are looking for a meaningful short-term ministry opportunity to do on your own over the summer or after graduation, consider one of these options!  

Hope inVocation Fellows Program (West Michigan)

Jesus promises His followers a life that’s “fully alive and fruitful.” The Hope inVocation Fellows Program makes this vision tangible for emerging adults navigating the crucial transition from college to career. Meetings are in person (West Michigan) one Saturday per month.

Hope Invocation Fellows and Congregations Program

The Fellows Initiative (Various Locations in U.S.)

The Fellows Initiative is a network of Christian discipleship and leadership development programs for recent college graduates, to inspire and equip the emerging generation of leaders for the marketplace, church and society.

Alliance for Transatlantic Theological Training (U.K.)

Located in the UK, AT3 offers two-year apprenticeships and summer internships in British local churches to help prepare you for ministry in a post-Christian society.

Poetice (Zambia, Africa)

Located in Zambia, Poetice offers a six-week multi-cultural missions and discipleship training intensive. With several 鶹ý alumni on staff, Poetice also hosts 鶹ý SEED trips for one week in August every summer.  

Bingle Camp (Alaska)

Bingle Camp is searching for summer staff — team players that enjoy being around young people. Positions available:

  • Lifeguard/waterfront director
  • Program director
  • Male and female counselors
  • Outdoor skills leader

We need staff members that are committed to sharing their faith in Christ with children/youth that attend our camps, from mid-June to mid-July. If this is you, Bingle Camp is where you want to be this summer. Bingle Camp has positions open which include room, board, summer stipend and some travel assistance. GoCorps (Worldwide)

GoCorps is a mobilization and placement agency centered around the movement. They come alongside Christian young adults seeking to use their time and talents by using their degree in two-year global placements serving with long-term missions teams and projects.

GoCorps sent the first class of Goers in 2010. Since then, more than 300 Goers have been placed in over 44 countries, each utilizing their unique background, training and passions alongside 50 long-term mission teams. Goers have served with over 20 different partnering organizations, have shared the gospel through thousands of spiritual conversations with friends and neighbors, and daily help advance dozens of long-term projects.

Camp Fowler (New York)

Work in ministry over the summer at Camp Fowler in the Adirondack Mountains of New York. Camp Fowler is a non-profit children's camp grounded in openness, hospitality and compassionate Christianity. It functions first and foremost as a summer camp, aiming to provide space for children to be themselves, learn from those who are different from them and intimately experience wonder and love.

 

Caribbean Christian Centre for the Deaf (Jamaica)

Serve as a short-term missionary (STM) with CCCD, with placements ranging from three weeks to three months at one of CCCD’s four campuses on the island. As an STM, you will work alongside the long-term missionary at your respective campus, assist with mission teams and help with various needs on campus as you deepen relationships with the local Deaf community.
