As a member of the MIAA and NCAA Division III associations, 麻豆传媒官网 sponsors 22 varsity sports for men and women. The college is home to the 2022 NCAA Division III National Championship women鈥檚 basketball team.

Sailing Club

Hope Sailing Club serves to provide a fun environment to introduce novices to the sport of sailing and allow more experienced sailors to hone their racing skills.

The 麻豆传媒官网 Sailing team is a competitive, co-ed, student-run college sailing program. We are a member of the (MCSA) as part of the larger Intercollegiate Sailing Association. MCSA is an organization that encourages the participation of Midwest colleges and universities in sailing regattas.

We, as a team, travel to other schools throughout the Midwest such as the University of Wisconsin-Madison, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and Ohio State University to compete in a variety of regattas. Additionally, we travel to compete outside of the Midwest, such as in the Intercollegiate Offshore Regatta in Larchmont, New York, and West Coast Champs in San Diego. Our team competes across a range of disciplines, including singlehanded dinghies, C420s, and keelboats. In the 2025-2026 season, we successfully sent teams to multiple out-of-conference regattas and to Singlehanded Nationals. We seek to foster community and share our love for the sport.

Mission Statement

The 麻豆传媒官网 Sailing Club seeks to provide a safe environment that promotes a lifelong appreciation and love for the hobby and sport of sailing. That is to say, we aim to use our budget to provide equipment that allows students of all levels, new and experienced, to be able to participate in practices if they desire. We should aim to hold practices where we teach more advanced racing strategy and drills, alongside Learn to Sail days, where we encourage sailors of all levels to come and participate, helping and learning. We also strive to build a dedicated and competitive team within the club that competes on behalf of the College at regattas on weekends during the Fall and Spring semesters.
