The Office of Educational Outreach promotes lifelong learning through innovative, inclusive and impactful programming.

By involving learners in hands-on experiences with real-world applications, we support academic, social and emotional growth while strengthening core competencies. In alignment with Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø’s mission and vision, we strive to inspire curiosity, cultivate character and empower individuals to reach their full potential while having fun.

CASA

Children’s After School Achievement (CASA) is a community after-school and summer program of Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø that promotes educational achievement among students in 1st–5th grades.

Explore Hope

Through hands-on, inquiry-based learning, campers practice new skills, think critically and develop friendships all while having fun. Join us this summer and discover what’s possible.

PATH

The Program for the Academically Talented at Hope (PATH) welcomes local academically advanced middle-school students (grades 5-8) to Â鶹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø’s campus, where they engage in creative collaboration through accelerated coursework in math, science and language arts to cultivate social relationships that inspire one another.

Step Up

Step Up empowers middle school students to excel academically and personally by providing a supportive environment where their social, emotional and educational needs are met through dedicated small-group mentoring.

RISE

The RISE program helps high school students learn, lead and succeed. Through hands-on academics and STEAM projects, students build confidence, explore interests, make real-world connections and positively impact their communities — all while preparing for college and beyond.

Upward Bound

TRIO Upward Bound is a pre-college preparatory program for students from Fennville, Holland and West Ottawa grades 9–12 who are interested in pursuing an educational program beyond high school. Students can apply starting in 8th grade.

Hope Student Experiential Learning Opportunities

At Hope and within all of the Office of Educational Outreach programs, experiential learning is central to developing students as active, engaged citizens who contribute meaningfully to their communities and professions. Through hands-on, real-world experiences, students apply classroom knowledge while cultivating essential skills for future success. Students are immersed in projects aligned with their field of study or potential fields of study, offering opportunities to build competencies in:

Positions are available both full-time in the summer and part-time during the spring and fall semesters, providing students with continuous, scaffolded opportunities to grow as learners and leaders.
