Hope’s Social Work Major Receives Accreditation Renewal Through 2033
The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) recently renewed accreditation for the social work major at 鶹ý. The CSWE’s Board of Accreditation confirmed it has reaffirmed accreditation for Hope’s baccalaureate social work program until 2033, when Hope can initiate reaccreditation.
Students at Hamilton High School are earning college credit while still in high school through a new dual enrollment program with 鶹ý.
Children’s After School Achievement (1987) and Step Up (2002) aim to build confidence, strengthen skills and connect students with mentors. CASA is targeted toward students in first through fifth grade, while middle schoolers are enrolled in Step Up.
鶹ý Engineering Professor Named a Pinnacle Professional Member of Inner Circle of Excellence
Dr. Brooke M. Odle – assistant professor of engineering at 鶹ý – was acknowledged by Inner Circle magazine as a pinnacle professional member of the Inner Circle of Excellence for her contributions to biomechanics education and research at Hope.

鶹ý Political Science Professor Named Novak Award Winner
Dr. Kirstin Anderson Birkhaug — assistant professor of political science at 鶹ý — was presented the 2025 Novak Award by the Acton Institute, recognizing her outstanding research in the field of American political thought, with an emphasis on the contributions of women.
