Charlotte Ulloa
Collections Archivist
Charlotte Ulloa maintains the collections held by 鶹ý Archives and Special Collections and provides research services to students, faculty, staff and members of the community. She also hires, trains and supervises student assistants and interns, and coordinates digital projects with Van Wylen Library’s Digital Initiatives team.
Before joining the Archives staff in 2024, she held positions at the library of Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago and at the University of Minnesota Archives, in the Immigration History Research Center.
Charlotte is a member of the Society of American Archivists, the Michigan Archival Association and the Michigan Academic Library Association. She serves on the Society of American Archivists’ Membership Funding and Pathways for Diverse Archives Worker Task Force.

Outside 鶹ý
While trained as a classical vocalist, Charlotte enjoys singing in all forms, especially nursery rhymes for her daughter. Her performance career included roles in operas such as “Dzì fan tutte” (Despina), “The Turn of the Screw” (Flora), and “Le Nozze di Figaro” (Barbarina). She has also directed youth musical theatre. At home, Charlotte enjoys maintaining her garden, sewing gifts, walking her dog and coming together with loved ones over good bread and butter.
