Building Information

Scott Hall is a co-ed residence hall with 50 rooms, housing 100 students. It was part of the Fraternity Dormitory Complex built in 1962, housing members of the Emersonian and Fraternal fraternities. Today, Scott Hall is the home to the Phelps Scholars Program. The hall was renamed in 1986 in honor of Charles Scott, the provisional presidential of Âé¶¹´«Ã½¹ÙÍø. Scott Hall shares a courtyard with Wyckoff Hall.

Room Features

  • The average sized room is 11’8" x 14', Height: 7’10" 
  • Beds can be bunked and/or lofted (bed safety rail provided)
  • Carpeted floors
  • Window blinds
  • Closets - 47" wide, with one long shelf across the top, 38"w x 14.5"h or  38"w x 66"h without a shelf.  The width in the closet can be as long as 51" depending on the room

Furniture Provided

  • Extra long twin beds (80" mattress),  31" of space under bed half lofted
  • One free-standing dresser per student with three drawers each, 28" tall (will fit under unlofted beds), inside drawers: 26"x19"
  • Desk - 42"x24"
  • Desk chairs
  • Towel rack

Other rooms in Scott Hall include an attractive lobby, basement level computer lab, laundry room, lounge and kitchen.
